Social Good Engineering -The Vision
Like the Bretton Woods Conference in 1944, the CURE conference is intended to spark large-scale change. Bringing together experts in finance and philanthropy, policy and law, health, labor and workforce development, communications and social movements - our goal is to unpack some of Urban America's most intractable issues - identifying pivot points, levers and interventions to be piloted in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, that could provide a blueprint to scale nationally. This is a "think-big", no fences, fresh look at the root causes of urban decline and disparities. And, we aim to walk away from this gathering of great minds with key initiatives and actions in our respective sectors and spheres of influence. This is a Medici Effect moment. An opportunity for unbridled creativity and honest contemplation; and a chance to spend three days in deep development with seasoned leaders of social change who all share in common the desire to be of service, to be change agents, and to improve the lives of others.
